A Confession

Every once in a while I like to put this song on even though, I always cry a little everytime I hear it. I think it's one of the most beautiful things ever. I'm not quite sure how she ever recorded it without breaking down into sobs. When I try to tell people about it, I get choked up.

I hope that doesn't scare any of my readers away, but if you haven't left me for being a giant dork before now, you've definately proven your loyalty.

(Yes, I sometimes re-read the part of Little Women where Beth dies just for the carthartic tears. I've got issues.)

Dolly AND Little Women?!?!? You are sooooooooooo in my peer group! : )
Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain by Willie Nelson and Calling My Children Home by Emmylou Harris get me too. But I listen anyway!

Hope you are having a great week and watch out for more rain and storms heading our way. (I swear you haven't moved to Seattle!)

PS. I am really enjoying my wash cloths. . .thank you again!

I saw your comment about PCOS and wanted to write to you since i have it too. I was overweight and unable to get pregnant, but I finally did after seeing a good endo. I took metformin and clomid and got pregnant but lost that baby, and a year later after losing weight on the Prism weight loss program, and on metformin, I conceived (without clomid) and had a healthy baby. I don't even know if you have the same struggles, but I had to share. This was an answer to prayer, and you are young and could have plenty of babies God willing, if you want to.

Molly, sometimes it's just fun to cry. Ben just laughs at me when this song comes on, because I go all pouty lipped and dewy eyed, and then start saying, "but her coat had love in it, and the other kids didn't get it, that it's not money that's important..." It's hilarious, I'm sure. Oh, and about the rain. Anything you can do about that? I'd love to see what my yard looks like when it's dry. :D I'm glad you're liking your prize!

Anonymous, thanks for stopping by. I know a couple of women with PCOS that have had children after being prescribed metformin. In fact, a few years back, my endocrinologist put me on it to help regulate my sugar usage, and he told me, "You'll want to be careful, because this can make you pregnant." I didn't want to have to explain to him that I'm pretty sure it's something else entirely that gets you pregnant!

I used to ball my eyes out over Beth's dying in Little Women. I haven't read it in awhile now, but I still remember sobbing. Sometimes you just need a good cry. :)

There's something dorky about having a good cry from time to time?

Uh oh. I may be in trouble. We watched I Am Legend the other night and while I didn't like the movie overall, the scene with Sam dying was...well...yeah. It did the job.
