I've been feeling sort of derailed lately. My back still isn't quite right, though it's no longer spasming badly enough to keep me bent over. I've been resting it as much as I can. Pretty much to the point where I'm feeling like I've done nothing for two weeks.
Sticking to our meal plan hasn't been a problem though, so I've still lost some weight. I'm at a total of 24 pounds down. I'd really like to get back to working out though, because I feel like I've lost some of the endurance and strength I'd gained and that's the whole point of this anyway, not weight loss.
I've been enjoying the beautiful fall weather though. This is my absolute favorite time of year. I never liked it when I was a kid. At least I thought I didn't, but when I remember back, it seems like I've always enjoyed autumn a ton.
We went to New Salem, IL a couple of weekends ago. It's a Lincoln historic site, and they have living history displays and things. It was a gorgeous day, and I loved getting to crunch in all the leaves! The photo above is of some of the buildings and paths there. All the buildings are reproductions, built on the orginal foundations and labeled as they were used when Lincoln lived there in the 1820's.
